NATO and Ukraine Discuss Food Security
As a member of the NATO Civil Committee on Food Resilience, Dr. Salman participated in a workshop held on 2–3 July in Warsaw at the Government Centre for Security (RCB). The event brought together Ukrainian specialists from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the Ministry of Economy, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, along with Allied counterparts and NATO civil experts. Titled “Lessons Learned from Food Security and Agriculture During Conflict,” the workshop was organized in collaboration with the Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC) and focused on the full spectrum of challenges and strategies for managing conflict-related disruptions to agri-food systems.”
