Justine Liepkalns, an associate professor in MIP, won the 2025 College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Living Our Values Award for Innovation. The award was present by CVMBS Dean Sue VandeWoude at the annual college Spring Forum on April 29. Liepkalns was recognized for her work in education research, with the nominator saying, “Her Discipline-Based Education Research efforts bridge the gap between educational and research activities, make undergraduates feel like they are a key part of department initiatives, and let everyone join in the conversation.”
