Taylor Garner

Taylor is a senior undergraduate student studying Biomedical Sciences with a neurology concentration. She is a member of the Honors Program, Honors Undergraduate Research Scholars, Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Premedica, PERIOD at CSU, and is a member of the Executive Board for Order of Omega. She has assisted with research regarding manganese induced Parkinsonism and A53T transgenic mice dual hit studies. Her senior thesis in the lab will be addressing the implications of viruses on the development and exacerbation of Parkinson’s, as well as how the two dual hit models she has worked on compare to one another in their physiological presentation. She hopes to attend medical school following graduation to pursue her love of neuroscience in the clinical field.
In her free time, Taylor is an avid mountaineer and powerlifter, and enjoys reading, painting, and running with her dog, Oslo.
